What Healing through Sun?

Too often important finding are prejudged as crazy or considered merely anecdotal because they do not yet exist in the scientific literature of the day. Magellan, for example, discovered that the Earth was round only by physically sailing around it, despite the prevailing belief of the science that the Earth was flat and that a ship would fall off over its edge if it sailed too far. Even today, discoveries are too often considered invalid unless they fit into the realm of “cold, hard science”.

Many civilizations worshiped the sun for its healing powers, using its full spectrum of light to treat physical and mental problems. Yet modern (actually immature) scientific medical research claims that sunlight is hazardous to people’s health, and all sorts of special eyeglasses and sunscreen lotions are marketed to give complete protection. Major financial interests have come into play, sometimes making the truth even more obscure.

Have you ever wondered why portion of the galaxy in which we live is called “Solar System”? Doesn’t the term “solar system” imply that human beings are of, or derived from, the sun? The idea of light as an integral part of all life and creation is evident since the beginning of time. Sunlight, our major source and provider of light, warmth, and energy, not only sustains all life on Earth, but it sustains Earth itself. The light and heat from the sun are indispensable to all nature.

e.g. Car’s engine requires fuel, oxygen, and a spark to create internal combustion, which makes the car run. The human body also required fuel (in the form of food), oxygen, and a spark (in the form of light) to ignite the process of metabolism. If the ignition system of the car is not functioning properly, fuel additives will not solve the problem. The same is true in the human body. Vitamins and drugs will not solve the problems caused by a lack of the appropriate wavelengths of light necessary to create complete metabolism. Light is a tool to expand our awareness of emotional and mental patterns so that we can create an internal environment where vibrant health is the norm.

The science of light bridges the gap between scientific knowledge, intuitive knowing, health, and personal evolution, thus acting as a foundation for a new paradigm in healing. Light and color contain the essence of what humans attempt to gain by eating food. The human body is nourished directly by the stimulation of sunlight or nourished indirectly by eating foods, drinking fluids, or breathing air that has been vitalized by the sun’s light energy. Light’s most powerful role may lie in its ability to unlock and unclog the mind. By spending an inordinate amount of time under artificial lights, we may be subjecting ourselves to malillumination, in much the same way as we subject ourselves to malnutrition by eating an unbalanced diet.

Why Sunlight?

Scientists have recently discovered what mystics have maintained for long that human body has master controller called “Pineal Gland” which is “regulator of regulators” for all biological clocks, hypothalamus, nervous system, and endocrine system; which in turn are responsible for overall body functions. But this master gland is not an internal mechanism; basically pineal gland is a follower of the dynamic & rhythmic fluctuations in the Solar System Interplanetary Electromagnetic Field Matrix (SSIEFM) and the rhythmically pulsating Geomagnetic Field of the Earth (GMF). So, in other words, Pineal is our “light meter” that receives information from the heavens above (Sunlight), to give us that sense of oneness with the universe, and from the Earth’s electromagnetic field (Earth) below to keep us grounded. A perfect balance is necessary to maintain our health, and to keep us in harmony with environment. This is the reason that Sunlight and Earthing are most important for health due to their relationship with pineal gland.

What about the Harmful UV?

How is it possible that sunlight, the most powerful nutrient in our solar system, can also be so dangerous? Now, science has determined that God may have made a mistake and that all UN light is harmful. It is right that too much UV light is bad, but we need a basic amount to support life and maintain a healthy immune system. Moreover, all wavelengths of sunlight reaching earth are beneficial. e.g If you put your hand in the furnace it going to get burned. But this does not mean you avoid heat completely and keep your house at absolute zero! Trace amounts of ultraviolet (via sunlight) radiation are as important to people as trace amounts of vital nutrients.

The doctors mostly mention a study about UV light which shows that it is very harmful and it could cause skin cancer, cataracts etc. But let’s see what was that study. In 1981, a study was conducted at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, the conclusions of which have always seemed questionable. Monkeys were tranquilized, and then their eyelids were pried open with lid clamps. With the monkeys’ pupils fully dialed, researchers beamed light into their eyes from a 2,500 watt xenon lamp for 16 minutes. This intense light contained high levels of UV radiation. They gave these monkeys a highly abnormal exposure to ultraviolet light that would never happen in real life. In real life, monkeys’ pupils and eyelids would naturally adjust to protect their eyes, just like the pupils and eyelids of humans do. Same kind of studies was done for cataracts. Now, think about this study: Is there a 1% chance of happening this in real life. Basically, the conclusion is the abuse of the animals in their studies causes cancer, blindness, and death. Basically the ultraviolet issue has been exaggerated beyond belief by people who don’t wish to take responsibility for their health and well-being and there is bid money involved for co-operates in sunscreen lotions and glasses.

There are many benefits of UV from sun: UV light lowers blood pressure, increases the efficiency of the heart, improves electrocardiogram readings, lowers cholesterol, assists in weight loss, effective treatment for psoriasis activates the synthesis of vitamin D, activates an important skin hormone.

Suggestions for Healthy Life

  • Spend a portion of each day (at-least one hour) outdoors, regardless of the weather. Even being in the shade or on a screened porch is fine. Taking a walk is a nice way of spending time outdoors, while also taking time to breathe in nature and its beauty.
  • Avoid wearing sun glasses and contact lens with assorted colors.
  • If you must wear prescription glasses, ask your eye-care specialist about UV-transmitting lenses. They have to be specially ordered. These are not recommended after cataract removal. If other diseases exist, consult your doctor.
  • Do Sun-Gazing every day. The method is explained later in the article.
  • Drink sun-charged water. The method is explained later in the article.

Tips

  • Never see towards sun during any type of eclipse. Even avoid skin exposure during that time.
  • Avoid exposure between 10 am to 2 pm.
  • While indoors, sit by open window, if possible, or at least by an unshielded closed window. This will provide you with the full visible spectrum of light (including the UV if the window is open) as well as its natural intensity.
  • Don’t wear sunglasses and tinted contacts can cause just as many problems as sunglasses.
  • Fresh air is also very important for one's health. Everyone should spend at-least 45 minutes in fresh air in order to keep good health.

Why Sun-Gazing is important among other Sun healing methods

The eyes are actual extensions of the brain, are more complex than any other man-made substance. e.g Space Shuttle Columbia, with its 5.2 million parts, could be compared to a single eye, containing 137 million photoreceptors and more than 1 billion total parts.

Light as conscious electromagnetic energy from the sun enters the body through the optic nerves of the eyes and part of it goes to visual cortex for the construction of images, while other part directly stimulates the pineal gland, a photo reactive organ. The pineal gland converts light energy into an electrochemical impulse which feeds directly into the hypothalamus. The hypothalamus is that part of the brain which mediates all of the vital processes of the body via its immediate and direct connections to the pituitary gland (master for lower endocrine glands) and the autonomic nervous system. The hypothalamus is filled with light sensitive cells which convert the electromagnetic signal of light into a neurochemical impulse which is then carried directly into the pituitary gland. The pituitary, in turn, elaborates all lower endocrine glands and secretes hormones within the body accordingly. This is the reason that sunlight entering through eyes are very important for health and thus sun-gazing has special place in light therapy.

Method of Sun-Gazing

  • Stand on bare earth with bare foot.
  • Gaze towards sun starting from 13 seconds and increase it every day by 13 seconds until you reach 19 minutes (or maximum 45 minutes). Eyes can blink and/or flicker.  Stillness or Steadiness of the eyes is not required. Even 2 minutes of sun-gazing in morning and evening will bring good results.
  • The safe hours are anytime within 1-hour window after sunrise or anytime within the 1-hr window before sunset.

Tips for Sun-Gazing

  • Never see towards sun during any type of eclipse. Even avoid skin exposure during that time.
  • Do not where any lenses or glasses while sun gazing. If you had a catarct surgery and have permanent lens implanted, then do not sun gaze.
  • You may consider gazing from the same place at the same time daily. Following circadian patterns has its advantages.
  • Make sure, that your back is straight and that your feet are firmly on the ground barefoot (even in winter) during sun gazing. This is very important.
  • When finished your sun gazing session, stay outside with your feet on the ground, either standing or walking, for at least 10 minutes.

Sun Charged Water

Water can be charged through our best friend i.e. Sun. The water charged in sun can cure any/all diseases if taken for extended time. The procedure to charge water in sun is as follows. Tap water can be used. Remember to write good words on the container.

  1. Place fresh drinkable water into a clear glass container.  The maximum recommended container size is one gallon.  Using smaller and/or broader containers provide more surface area for the sunlight to directly contact, thus quickening the charging process.
  2. Cover the clear glass container with a clear glass lid.  Do not use plastic, since plastic has been found to leech harmful chemicals into liquid and air. A Sacred word could be written on the container to have the frequency of that sacred word into the water.
  3. Place the container in direct sunlight, outside on bare earth.  Do not place the container on grass, since grass will prevent charging.  If bare earth is not available, choose a suitable material other than grass (sand, rock, cement, etc).
  4. Leave the container outside for a minimum of 5 hours.  Depending on the season and planetary location, a container of water will be fully sun-charged between 5 and 8 hours.  Leaving the container in the direct sunlight longer than 8 hours will not harm it.

Tips for Sun Healing

  • Never see towards sun during any type of eclipse. Even avoid skin exposure during that time.
  • Do not leave the container of water outside over night. Doing so will quickly drain the water of its charge.  In addition, no studies have been done to measure the effects of moon-charged water.  Moon-charging water is not recommended; since the moon produces no light of its own and has been shown to adversely affect some humans (lunacy).
  • Avoid the use of colored glass containers.  At this time, color therapy has not effectively standardized the relationships between different colors and localized areas of the human body.  It is safest to use clear glass that gathers white light, itself containing all the colors in the rainbow.
  • Drink the sun-charged water immediately after it has been fully charged.  Sun-charged water may be stored for up to 24 hours.  After which time, it should be re-charged in the sunlight.  There is no need to refrigerate this water.  Science has shown that room-temperature drinking water is the most beneficial temperature.
  • In addition to drinking sun-charged water, this water can be applied directly to the skin through self-massage, soaks, or compresses.  Sun-charged water is also helpful when used as an eye-wash.
  • Always have a container of water being sun-charged outside.  This will allow for a continuous supply of sun-charged water.
  • During winter months, to avoid freezing and cracking the glass containers, place the container inside the home on a windowsill that gathers the most direct sunlight.
  • Use sun-charged water for house plants and pets.  

Benefits of Sun Healing

If one practices safe sun gazing with faith and confidence, free from doubts and with the proper understanding, one gets perfect health for mind body and spirit. Sun is the source of energy; even Earth is being maintained by Sun; therefore exposure of skin to sunlight is helpful in all diseases. Secondly, it is also a fact that if tap is placed in sunlight for 4-5 hours, then it removes chlorine from the water. It is impossible to list all the benefits of Sun and the list of diseases that could be cured through sun.
